Summary of this article:When importing and selling products from China, "Amazon FBA" is a crucial system for efficiently scaling your business. Many businesses have adopted this service because it allows them to focus on sales without having to manage inventory or handle shipping in-house. In this article, we’ll provide a clear and easy-to-understand explanation of everything from the basics of Amazon FBA to an overview of fulfillment centers and important considerations when shipping inventory.
Benefits of Using FBA
An increasing number of businesses are utilizing Amazon FBA, a highly convenient service for importing and selling products bought from China.
FBA is a service where you simply send your products to Amazon’s dedicated warehouses, and Amazon handles everything for you—from product storage to order processing, shipping, and customer service related to returns.
As an import agent, Hubbuyer—a China sourcing specialist—also supports direct FBA shipments, allowing you to sell products imported from China without maintaining a warehouse in Japan.
Amazon operates numerous fulfillment centers (warehouses), and by shipping your products to these centers, you can offer Prime shipping.
Additionally, the "Prime" badge will appear on your product page, which can help boost sales.
Information on Amazon FBA fulfillment centers (FCs) is summarized below.

Please note the following when creating a shipping plan:
● When writing the address on the shipping label, please enter the address displayed when creating the delivery plan without abbreviating it.
● Each center uses its own unique ZIP code, so please use the ZIP code displayed exactly as it appears.
● The phone number is the shared technical support number: 0120-999-373
If you include the above phone number on the shipping label, your shipment will be accepted without issue.
The individual phone numbers for each center are not publicly available.
● The delivery destination is automatically designated when creating the delivery plan.
It is automatically assigned based on size and category, so you cannot select the delivery destination.

The table above shows the product types and sizes supported by each fulfillment center.
Shipments containing both small/standard-sized and large items will be sorted based on the size of the items.
Transfer Centers (TCs) specialize in receiving operations during the delivery process to fulfillment centers (FCs), making the delivery process more efficient.
After the seller’s products are received at the TC, Amazon sequentially transfers the inventory to fulfillment centers.
The optimal fulfillment center for delivery is selected based on factors such as buyer demand distribution and inventory balance at each fulfillment center.
The destination fulfillment center may change with each shipment based on the following product size categories for inventory distribution (which differ from the size categories used for FBA fees).

Note: Products with a size (the sum of the unit’s length, width, and height, including packaging) exceeding 260 cm, or weighing more than 50 kg, are not eligible for FBA services.
Keeping the above size categories in mind will make it easier to calculate costs, including Amazon FBA shipping fees, when conducting research.
